Prémanon Whichever road you choose to get to Prémanon, we are confident that you will be moved by the natural beauty and other charms of the Hauts Plateaux, located in the Jura region. You can choose either the départementale 25 which winds through the forest of coniferous and broad-leaved trees, or the nationale 5 from Geneva. Prémanon is a small traditional village located at the bottom of the mountain of La Dôle with 600 inhabitants and many interesting hamlets. The village sits at an altitude of 1,130 metres. There is a host of activities on offer, all designed to maximise the enjoyment of your visit. Winter activities and amenities include downhill skiing, snow boarding, several forms of cross-country skiing, walking paths, sledge paths, an ice-rink, bowling centre, ski lessons for beginners and much more. On the Jouvencelles, there are 12 lifts, 1 chairlift and 1 lift for beginners. In summer, the region is ideal for discovering and re-experiencing the joys of river fishing, tennis, hiking, and mountain biking. All-year activities include a visit to the Paul Emile Victor Museum, bowling, and ice skating.
